The "7th Stamp World Cup" Competition
The "HK$1.30 Personal Greetings Stamp" issued by Hongkong
Post on 1 February 2001 has just won the 4th prize of "The
World's Most Beautiful Stamp" in the "7th Stamp World
Cup" and is given the "Most Beautiful Stamp of Asia"
award.
Organised by the leading French Stamp Magazine, Timbres Magazine,
the "7th Stamp World Cup" aims to present the most accomplished
philatelic productions of the worldwide postal administrations to
enthusiastic collectors. Hongkong Post's achievements in this international
philatelic competition clearly indicate that the high standard of
Hong Kong stamps has been recognised worldwide.
