Children Stamps Design Competition 2003
Hongkong Post will organise another territory-wide stamps design
competition on the theme of "My Favourite Toys and Games".
The objective is to encourage children to express their passion
on their favourite toys and games through drawings and to provide
opportunity for them to reflect their creative ideas on postage
stamps. This is also one of Hongkong Post's continuous effort to
stimulate the interest of children in stamp collecting, a hobby
with universal appeal and best to be developed at an early age.
Entry to the Competition will be accepted during the period from
29 March to 31 May 2003. All children who are residents
of Hong Kong and between the ages of eight and twelve by the close
of the contest deadline are eligible to enter.
There are four grand prizes for this competition. Apart from having
cash cheque of HK$2,000 and a trophy given to the winners, the winning
designs will have a chance to be used for producing a set of "Children
Stamps" to be issued in 2004. Entrants with outstanding designs
will be awarded Certificates of Merit. Every entrant will receive
a souvenir from Hongkong Post.
