"Hello from Hong Kong" Postcard Campaign
Information Services Department will introduce the "Hello
from Hong Kong" Postcard Campaign on 14 June 2003 (Saturday).
Free postage prepaid postcards will be given out to the public for
invitation of their friends and relatives overseas to visit Hong
Kong again. The postcard bears a postage prepaid indicator which
will be valid for free posting to overseas during the period of
14 June 2003 to 31 December 2003.
As a support to this campaign, the "Hello from Hong Kong"
postcard will be distributed free of charge to the public at all
philatelic offices and Discovery Bay Post Office from 14 June 2003.
A quota of 2 postcards per queuing customer will be applied, the
postcards will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis until
stocks last. No handback service will be provided.
Hongkong Post will also introduce "Hello from Hong Kong"
stickers, which are in red and at size of 33 mm x 16 mm. They will
be distributed free to the public for affixing on mail items. Besides,
the following postal slogan will also be used to cancel letters
processed by our Air Mail Centre during the period specified below:

Special drop box will be placed at the General Post Office and
Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office only on the first day of the introduction
of slogan, i.e. 14 June 2003, for collection of postal items
intended for cancellation by the postal slogan. Item posted in the
special drop box with sufficient postage pre-paid will be delivered
as addressed.
