Letter from General Manager, Stamps & Philately

Dear Customer,
Thank you for your valuable comments in response to our Survey
on Stamp Products conducted in June this year. We have received
over 5,000 responses during this period. For those responses where
comments have been given, I have personally read each and every
one of them to better understand your needs.
In summarizing the results, over 70% of the respondents agreed
with the idea of having a stamp sheetlet with a new stamp to add
interest to their collection. Among customers' choices, the option
which incorporating a set of mint stamps, a souvenir sheet and a
sheetlet with new stamp design and lower denomination was the most
preferred one.
Based on this result, we will design our 2004 Stamp Issuing Programme
according to the majority preference. That is, for stamp issues
that consist of a souvenir sheet, a stamp sheetlet with a new design
stamp will also be issued. We have also decided to put the lowest
denomination of $5 for the stamp sheetlet. You may wish to select
the combination of products that best suit your need.
With this change, we will also incorporate the stamp sheetlet together
with the set of mint stamps into the presentation pack to maintain
a full collection of all new design stamps (except the Lunar New
Year Series).
Once again, I would like to thank you for your support to Hongkong

are certainly one of the drive for further improvement.
