Official Souvenir Cover to Commemorate the Jockey Club 3rd INAS-FID
World Swimming Championships
A souvenir cover will be issued on 7 January 2004 (Wednesday)
to commemorate the Jockey Club 3rd INAS-FID World Swimming Championships,
which is prestigious and highly competitive international sports
event held every four years for athletes with intellectual disability.
It will be put on sale at 39 philatelic offices from 19 December
2003 to 7 January 2004. The selling price of the cover is HK$2
each.
A special postmark will be introduced on 7 January 2004.
Hand-back service for the special postmark will be provided to official
and privately-made covers bearing an indication of the event and
a local address at 39 philatelic offices on that day. The "GPO-1"
postmark, "Philatelic Bureau" pictorial postmark and the
philatelic office pictorial postmarks will also be available for
hand-back service at all philatelic offices on that day.
In addition, the public hall of the Hongkong Post Philatelic Bureau
on 1/F., Trade Square, 681 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon, will also
open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on 7 January 2004 for datestamping
covers with the "Philatelic Bureau" pictorial postmark,
the "GPO-1" postmark as well as the special postmark.

ordered the "Datastamped Special Souvenir Cover - For Other
Special Events", please note that the souvenir covers of
"Official Souvenir Cover to Commemorate the Jockey Club

for collection on 30 January 2004. |
