To pay tribute to The People's Liberation Army Forces, Hong Kong,
a set of six mint stamps will be issued on 30 June 2004 (Wednesday).
The stamps depicting the various faces of the Forces will be of
the following denominations.

Remarks: The above philatelic products have been included in the
2004 Local Standing Order Service.
The stamps will be displayed at the General Post Office, Tsim Sha
Tsui Post Office, Tsuen Wan Post Office and Sha Tin Central Post
Office from 9 June 2004. Official First Day Cover at HK$1
each will be put on sale at all post offices on the same day. Advance
order for servicing self-provided souvenir covers will be accepted
at all post offices from 9 to 15 June 2004.
Hand-back datestamping service will be provided at all post offices
on 30 June 2004 for official and privately-made covers bearing
the first day of issue indication and a local address. A special
postmark will also be introduced and available for hand-back service
at all post offices. The "GPO-1" postmark, "Philatelic
Bureau" pictorial postmark and the philatelic office pictorial
postmarks will also be available for hand-back datestamping service
at 39 philatelic offices on that day.
In addition, the public hall of the Hongkong Post Philatelic Bureau
on 1/F., Trade Square, 681 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon, will also
open on 30 June 2004 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for datestamping
covers with the "Philatelic Bureau" pictorial postmark,
the "GPO-1" postmark as well as special postmark on that
day.
