2005 Local Standing Order Service

There will be ten special stamp issues and other associated stamp products to be issued in 2005. Innovative idea creates trend and moves things forward. The 2005 stamp issues truly demonstrate the spirit of exploration, presenting you a new era of Hong Kong stamps. Advance ordering for 2005 stamp issues will be accepted with effect from 6 September 2004 (Monday) through the 2005 Local Standing Order Service (2005 LSOS).

Customers may obtain 2005 LSOS application forms and service guides at all post offices from 6 September 2004 onwards and at the Commercial Press bookstores during 6 September and 4 October 2004. Applicants can return the completed application forms at any post office (except Mobile Post Offices), by post to Hongkong Post Philatelic Bureau or make on-line application at Hongkong Post Stamps' website: http://www.hongkongpoststamps.com. Please note that the 2005 LSOS application form and service guide have been posted to 2004 Local Standing Order Service customers from 6 September 2004 onwards.

The minimum order amount for each account is HK$50. However, there is no limit on order quantity during the incentive period of 2005 LSOS from 6 September to 4 October 2004.

Meeting our 2005 Philatelic Ambassador - Snoopy

Our 2005 Philatelic Ambassador - Snoopy will be delighted to meet you at the 2005 Local Standing Order Services (LSOS) Roadshow at Tuen Mun Town Plaza (1/F, Main Atrium) on 25 and 26 September 2004. You will be able to take picture with Snoopy too. The photo-taking arrangements are as follows:-

1. You are required to submit your 2005 LSOS order form with spending of HK$300 or more at the roadshow venue at Tuen Mun Town Plaza (only at this venue but not others!);
2. Upon receipt of your order form, you are provided with a ticket for photo-taking. The ticket is valid on the day of issue only;
3. Customer allocated with a ticket can bring along another three family members (total four members at most) to take ONE picture. (No photographer will be available at the venue)
4. Snoopy will be waiting for you from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on both 25 and 26 September 2004 (break intervals will be taken during the time). So, don't be late.
5. Most importantly, don't forget to bring your CAMERA as no camera will be provided on spot.

2005 LSOS Roadshows

To promote the 2005 Local Standing Order Service (LSOS), Hongkong Post will organise roadshows at the selected post offices as well as the shopping centres. Customers returning the 2005 LSOS application forms with spending of HK$50 or above (per application form) at the above roadshow venues will receive a postal vehicle keying while stock lasts. Hand-back service will not be available at the roadshows and posting facility will not be provided at the 3 venues in the shopping centres. Roadshows at the shopping centres will accept payment by credit card and cheque only. The schedules are as follows:-
