Issue of Souvenir Cover to Commemorate Hongkong Post's Participation
in the Hong Kong Stampex 2005 Stamp Exhibition
A souvenir cover will be issued on 18 February 2005 to commemorate
Hongkong Post's participation in the Hong Kong Stampex 2005 stamp
exhibition. This exhibition, organised by the Hong Kong Philatelic
Society, will be held from 18 to 20 February 2005 at 2/F, Chinese
YMCA, 4 Harbour Road, Wanchai. Hongkong Post will display a running
proof of the "Year of the Rooster" special stamps at the
venue.
The souvenir cover at $2 will be available for sale at the 39 philatelic
offices from 4 to 18 February 2005. There will be no Hongkong Post
sales booth at the exhibition venue.
A special postmark and a cachet will be introduced for stamping
the official souvenir cover and privately-made covers bearing an
indication of the event and a local address. Arrangements for hand-back
datestamping service and application of cachet are as follows: -

successfully ordered the "Datestamped Special Souvenir Cover
- For Stamp Exhibitions", the souvenir covers of "Hongkong
Post's Participation in the Hong Kong Stampex 2005" will be
collected together with the "Children Stamps - Andersen's Fairy
Tales" stamp products.
