Postal Gallery in GPO Features New Exhibits

A fascinating new series of exhibits will be displayed in the Postal Gallery on Ground Floor of the General Post Office from 20 March 2006 through June 2006. As a preview to the "Children Stamps - Dress Bear Up" new stamp issue on 30 March 2006, the exhibition features stamps, associated philatelic products and running sheets of this interesting topic. To share the creativity of children, the winning entries and the selected entries of the "Children Stamps Design Competition - Dress Bear Up" will also be shown.

To add further interest and variety for those visiting the exhibition, a set of intriguing and informative official souvenir covers on opening and reprovisioning of post offices will be displayed as well. And the History Corner will present exhibits on "Postman Delivery Pouches" and "Chek Lap Kok Temporary Post Office".
