Stamp Issuing Programme for 2007 and Launch of 2007 Local Standing Order Service

(I)Stamp Issuing Programme for 2007
Ten special stamp issues and other associated stamp products are to be issued in 2007. Most of the new stamps and products will be issued on weekdays, except those which have to tie in with a special event on a particular day on a Sunday or Public Holiday.

(II) Launch of 2007 Local Standing Order Service
Advance ordering for 2007 stamp issues through the 2007 Local Standing Order Service will be accepted with effect from 28 August 2006. Various incentive programmes will be available for orders received between 28 August and 1 October 2006.

Application Procedures

Customers may obtain the 2007 LSOS application form and service guide at all post offices from 28 August 2006 onwards, and at Commercial Press bookstores from 28 August to 1 October 2006. Applicants can return the completed application form at any post office (except Mobile Post Offices) or by post to Hongkong Post Philatelic Bureau, or apply online via Stamp OnNet at www.stamponnet.hongkongpost.com.

Incentive Programme for Orders Placed on or before 1 October 2006

Early Bird's Bonus Scheme

Customers with a minimum order amount of HK$50 who return their applications between 28 August and 1 October 2006 (the incentive period for 2007 LSOS) will be given a Lunar New Year Series No. 9 (Year of the Pig) Souvenir Card as a free gift and are entitled to join the bonus point redemption programme. Features of the bonus point redemption programme are: -

1. Every dollar spent for ordering 2007 LSOS stamps during the incentive period of 2007 is entitled to 1 bonus point.
2. Every incentive item is listed with a corresponding bonus point value for redemption upon the customer’s selection.
3. Customers are required to specify their selection of incentive items to be redeemed in the 2007 LSOS order form.
4. All unused bonus points can be accumulated and are valid until 31 August 2009.

The incentive structure, bonus point requirements and collection/ delivery schedule are as follows: -

Young Collectors Bonus Scheme

Young customers who were born in or after 1988, and who have a minimum spending of HK$100 on 2007 stamp products during the incentive period, will receive a "2007 Philatelic Ambassador - Mcmug's Heartwarming Stamps Souvenir Covers Set" (a set of 4 covers). For a successful enrolment, the young applicant's parent or guardian (who must be aged over 18) should endorse the application by signing and providing details on the application form. This Souvenir Covers Set will be delivered or will be available for collection with the "Children Stamps - Bunny Fun and Games" issue on 22 March 2007.

To thank our customers for their long-term support, LSOS members who have registered between 1 January 2001 and 27 August 2006 with a minimum spending of HK$50 on 2007 stamp products during the incentive period will receive Year of the Pig Red Packets (a pack of 20 pieces). This set of Red Packets will be delivered or will be available for collection with the "Year of the Pig" special stamp issue on 4 February 2007.

Member-Get-Member Reward Scheme

To encourage existing LSOS members to bring in new members, each member who introduces a new member who spends HK$300 or above during the incentive period, will be rewarded with 100 extra bonus points. Each new member who spends HK$300 or above will be rewarded with 300 extra bonus points, in addition to the bonus points awarded according to every dollar spent for ordering 2007 LSOS stamp products.

Young Collector Retention Scheme

To encourage those 2006 LSOS members turning 19 to renew as 2007 LSOS (adult) account members, 800 extra bonus points will be awarded to these members upon their renewal during the incentive period.

Online Ordering with Stamp OnNet Bonus Scheme (during the incentive period)

• Online ordering amount HK$200-HK$250: rewarded with 50 bonus points.
• Online ordering amount HK$251-HK$350: rewarded with 100 bonus points.
• Online ordering amount HK$351-HK$500: rewarded with 150 bonus points.
• Online ordering amount HK$501 and above: rewarded with 250 bonus points.

2007 LSOS Roadshows

To promote the 2007 LSOS, Hongkong Post will organise roadshows at selected post offices and shopping malls. Please refer to the following schedules for details:-

Customers who return the 2007 LSOS application forms with spending of HK$50 or above for each account at the above venues will receive a special gift while stock lasts. Hand-back service will not be available at the roadshows and posting facility will not be provided at the 4 venues in the shopping malls.
