Postal Gallery in the General Post Office Features New Exhibits
A fascinating new series of exhibits on Lunar New Year Stamps will be displayed at the Postal Gallery located on Ground Floor, General Post Office starting from 14 January 2008 until March 2008. The exhibits will include the three series of "Lunar New Year Stamps" issued by Hongkong Post starting from 1967, 1987 and 2000, respectively. Lunar New Year Stamps issued by Ireland Post, Japan Post, Macao Post and Singapore Post are also on display.
As a preview of the new set of the “Year of the Rat” special stamps and the “Gold and Silver Stamp Sheetlet on Lunar New Year Animals – Pig / Rat” to be issued on 26 January 2008, the exhibition will also feature the stamps, running sheets and the associated philatelic products. |
