Closure of Texaco Road Post Office and
Opening of Yeung Uk Road Post Office
The existing Texaco Road Post Office at Shop 25-30, G/F, Wealthy Garden, 28-32 Texaco Road, Tsuen Wan will be closed down after the close of business on 19 April 2008 (Saturday). The office will be reprovisioned to Shop 15, 1/F, Indihome, 138 Yeung Uk Road, Tsuen Wan on 21 April 2008 (Monday). The new office will be renamed " Yeung Uk Road Post Office".
A $2 souvenir cover will be issued to mark the event. It will be put on sale at the post offices and prescribed dates as listed below:

Hand-back Datestamping Arrangements
A special hand-back service will be provided at Yeung Uk Road Post Office on 21 April 2008 (Monday), whereby official and privately-made covers with full postage prepaid and bearing the first day of issue indication and a local address will be accepted and impressed with the normal post office datestamp at the counter and handed back to customers.

Remarks:
- For 2008 Local Standing Order Service customers who have successfully ordered the "Datestamped Special Souvenir Cover – For Openings of Post Offices", please note that the souvenir cover of "Opening of Yeung Uk Road Post Office" will be collected together with the "Children Stamps – Paper Folding Fun" stamp products.
