Advance ordering for 2009 stamp issues through the 2009 Local Standing Order Service (LSOS) will be accepted with effect from 3 September 2008. Various incentive programmes will be available for orders received between 3 and 30 September 2008.

Application Procedures

• Existing LSOS customers will receive invitation letters with Application Forms in early September 2008 to order 2009 new stamp products in advance;
• 2009 LSOS Service Guide and Application Form are available at all post office;
• Customer can also apply online via StampOnNet at www.stamponnet.hongkongpost.com;
• Applicants can return the completed Application Forms at any post offices (except Mobile Post Offices), or by post to Hongkong Post Philatelic Bureau.

Incentive Scheme for Orders Placed on or before 30 September 2008

Early Bird Bonus Scheme

• Customers with a minimum order amount of HK$50 who return their applications on or before 30 September 2008 will be given a Lunar New Year Series No. 11 (Year of the Ox) Souvenir Card or 200 bonus points and are entitled to the Early Bird Bonus Scheme.
• Features of the scheme are: -
  • Every dollar spent for ordering 2009 LSOS stamp products during the incentive period of 2009 LSOS Programme (3 to 30 Sept 2008) is entitled to 1 bonus point;
  • Customers are eligible to select their favourite incentive items and redeemed with required bonus points;
  • All unused bonus points can be accumulated and are valid until 31 August 2011;
  • The incentive items with bonus point required and collection / delivery schedule are as follows: -

10	Year of the Ox Stamp Metallic Impression		For cumulative account spending of HK$5,000 or above (based on the processed and debited amount) by 31 December 2009 on 2009 stamp products.	To be confirmed by post or email starting from early 2009.

Member Rewards Scheme	"4-in-1" Memo Set
New members with a minimum order of HK$50 for 2009 stamp products during incentive period will receive a "4-in-1" Memo Set; Existing members for the same ordering will receive a Lunar New Year Series No. 11 (Year of the Ox) Souvenir Card or 200 extra bonus points.

To thank our customers for their continuous support, 2008 LSOS members who have renewed their membership with a minimum spending of HK$50 on 2009 stamp products during the incentive period will receive Year of the Ox Red Packets.

Young Collector's Bonus Scheme	Exquisite Stamp Album
Young customers under the age of 18, with a minimum spending of $100 on 2009 stamp products during the incentive period, will receive an "Exquisite Stamp Album"; For a successful enrolment, the young applicant's parent or guardian (who must be aged over 18) should acknowledge the application by signing and providing details on the Application Form.

Member-Get-Member Reward Scheme

To encourage existing LSOS members to bring in new members, all LSOS members who have registered between 1 January 2003 and 2 September 2008 can become a referee and introduce new members. Any new member who spends HK$100 or more on stamp products on or before 30 September 2008 will enjoy an extra 100 bonus points on top of the normal 1 reward point given for every HK$1 purchase. Each referee who introduces a new member will receive 100 bonus points upon renewal of their 2009 membership.

Young Collector's Bonus Scheme	USB Star-shaped Hub
To encourage those 2008 LSOS members reaching the age of  19 in 2008 and renew as adult member in 2009 LSOS programme, extra 800 bonus points will be awarded to these members upon their renewal during the incentive period. Become an adult member via "StampOnNet" can get a USB Star-shaped Hub or 800 extra bonus points.

Online Ordering with StampOnNet

In addition to the bonus points earned from ordering new stamps, customers will enjoy extra bonus points through online ordering with StampOnNet (incentive period extended to 31 Oct 2008);

200 extra bonus points with an online order of HK$201 – HK$300; 300 extra bonus points with an online order of HK$301 – HK$500; 400 extra bonus points with an online order of HK$501 or above;

Order 2009 stamp products via StampOnNet and for every order of HK$50, you will automatically earn one entry into our lucky draw for the chance to win a Serviced LSOS Souvenir Cover Series No. 10 (Year of the Ox) in a Personalised Collector's Pack, with your name printed on it;

The incentive period for StampOnNet is extended to 31 October 2008.

2009 LSOS Roadshows To promote the 2009 LSOS, Hongkong Post will organise roadshows at selected post offices and Shopping Malls in September 2008. Please refer to the following schedules for details: -

Customers who return the 2009 LSOS application forms with spending of HK$50 or above for each account at the above venues will receive a special gift while stock lasts;

Hand-back service will not be available at the Roadshows and posting facility will not be provided at the shopping malls.
