Hongkong Post "One Person, One Letter" Free Post Day

The “One Person, One Letter” free post activity will be held on 9 October 2008(Thursday) , encouraging people to send letters to their loved ones for consecutive 5 years. The details of the event are as follows:-

Definition of Personal Local Letter

  • Sending by an individual and bearing the name and local personal address of both the sender and addressee

Weight Limit

  • 50g or less

Address Format

  • "Personal Letter" must be marked on the envelope

Quantity Restriction

  • Each person is allowed to post only one personal letter for free

Post Offices and Hours of Acceptance

  • At specially designed posting boxes during counter business hours of ALL post offices (except the two mobile post offices)

Delivery Standard

  • Following the pledge set for locally posted letter, delivery by the following working day

Note

  • The items posted in the mentioned special drop boxes will be datestamped with "Postage Paid"
  • Any posted items that do not meet the posting condition(s) may be refused or subject to surcharge
