Stamp Issuing Programme for 2010 and Launch of 2010 Local Standing Order Service

(I) Special Stamp Issuing Programme for 2010

Ten special stamp issues and associated philatelic products are to be issued in 2010. Further details of individual stamp issue will be announced closer to the date of release.

(II) Launch of 2010 Local Standing Order Service

Advance ordering for 2010 stamp issues through the 2010 Local Standing Order Service (LSOS) will be accepted with effect from 3 September 2009. Various incentive programmes will be available for orders received between 3 and 30 September 2009.

Application Procedures

• Existing LSOS customers will receive invitation letters with Application Forms in early September 2009 to order 2010 new stamps products in advance;
• 2010 LSOS Service Guide and Application Form are available at all post offices from 3 September 2009 onwards;
• Customer can also apply online via Stamp OnNet at www.stamponnet.hongkongpost.com;
• Applicants can return the completed Application Forms at any post office (except Mobile Post Offices), or by post to Hongkong Post Philatelic Bureau.

Incentive Scheme for Orders Placed on or before 30 September 2009

Early Bird Bonus Scheme

Customers with a minimum order amount of HK$50 are entitled to the Early Bird Bonus Scheme.

Features of the scheme are:

1. Every dollar spent for ordering 2010 LSOS stamps products during the incentive period of 2010 LSOS Programme (3 to 30 Sept 2009) is entitled to 1 bonus point;
2. Customers are eligible to select their favourite incentive items and redeemed with required bonus points;
3. All unused bonus points can be accumulated and are valid until 31 August 2012;
4. The incentive items with bonus point required and collection / delivery schedule are as follows:

7.	999.9 Gold Prestige Card Series No. 12 (Year of the Tiger)		2,500	Delivered or available for collection with the "Year of the Tiger" Special Stamp issue on 6 February 2010.
8.	Serviced LSOS Souvenir Cover Series No. 11 (Year of the Tiger) in a Personalised Collector's Pack		6,000
9.	Year of the Tiger Stamp Metallic Impression		For cumulative account spending of HK$5,000 or above (based on the processed and debited amount) by 31 December 2010 on 2010 stamp products	To be confirmed by post or email starting from early 2010.

Member Rewards Scheme

New members with a minimum order of HK$50 for 2010 stamp products during incentive period will receive a "Multi-function Pen"; Existing members for the same ordering will receive a Lunar New Year Series No. 12 (Year of the Tiger) Souvenir Card or 200 extra bonus points.

Young Collectors Bonus Scheme

Young customers aged 18 or below, with a minimum spending of $100 on 2010 stamp products during the incentive period, will receive a "First Day Cover Album"; For a successful enrolment, the young applicant's parent or guardian (who must be aged over 18) should acknowledge the application by signing and providing details on the Application Form.

Member-Get-Member Reward Scheme

• To encourage existing LSOS members to bring in new members, all LSOS members who have registered between 1 January 2004 and 2 September 2009 can become a referee and introduce new members. Any new member who spends HK$100 or more on stamp products on or before 30 September 2009 will enjoy an extra 100 bonus points on top of the normal 1 reward point given for every HK$1 purchase. Each referee who introduces a new member will receive 100 bonus points upon renewal of their 2010 membership.

Young Collectors Retention Scheme

• To encourage those 2009 LSOS members turning 19 in 2009 to renew 2010 LSOS membership as an adult, 800 extra bonus points will be awarded to these members upon their renewal during the incentive period.

Order Plans Special Reward

- To express our gratitude to members' continued support, they will be rewarded with a Year of the Tiger Metallic Pin if they subscribe using one of the following order plans within the incentive period: Auto-order Plan or Flexi-order Plan (must include placing a standing order for one or more stamp product series including the Lunar New Year Animals series, Mainland Scenery series and/or Prestige Annual Stamp Album/Pack)

In addition to the bonus points earned from ordering new stamps, customers will enjoy extra bonus points through online ordering with Stamp OnNet (incentive period extended to 31 Oct 2009); 200 extra bonus points with an online order of HK$201 - HK$300; 300 extra bonus points with an online order of HK$301 - HK$500; 400 extra bonus points with an online order of HK$501 or above; Order 2010 stamp products via Stamp OnNet and for every order of HK$50, you will automatically earn one entry into our lucky draw for the chance to win a 10 panes of "Heartwarming Stamps Customised Service" (2009 version) Mini-pane with your personalised pictures; The incentive period for Stamp OnNet is extended to 31 October 2009.

2010 LSOS Roadshows

To promote the 2010 LSOS, Hongkong Post will organise roadshows at selected post offices and Shopping Malls in September 2009. Please refer to the following schedules for details:

Customers who return the 2010 LSOS application forms with spending of HK$50 or above for each account at the above venues will receive a special gift while stock lasts;

Hand-back service will not be available at the Roadshows and posting facility will not be provided at the shopping malls.
