Issue Date and Order Deadline of Stamp Issue

In Hong Kong, our railways have been keeping pace with the growth of the city. 2010 marks the centenary of the railway service. Hongkong Post will issue a set of six stamps on the theme of "Centenary of Railway Service in Hong Kong" on 28 September 2010 to commemorate this important milestone.

In addition to this set of stamps featuring six different models of trains from the past and present, there will also be associated philatelic products including a souvenir sheet, a stamp sheetlet, a presentation pack and a prestige stamp booklet released on the same day. In the stamp sheetlet, special printing effect is applied to the stamp to make the train look like it is moving. Train fans and stamp collectors should not miss out on these valuable collectibles.
