Sales of Overseas Philatelic Products on 12 August 2010

Philatelic products issued by the postal administrations of Australia, Macau and New Zealand will be put on sale at 37 philatelic offices and Hongkong Post Internet shopping mall - "ShopThruPost" (www.shopthrupost.hk) starting from 12 August 2010 (Thursday). The selling prices of the products and sales quota for each customer are as follows:

This special issue seeks to raise awareness of responsible dog ownership and support the dedicated work of organisations re-homing lost and abandoned dogs.

Each of the dogs featured in this stamp issue has spent time in a shelter of the RSPCA before being adopted into adoring new families.

Australian Beaches

Three of Australia's most renowned and beautiful beaches are featured on this new Stamp issue.

The Bay of Fires in north-eastern Tasmania is located within Mt William National Park.

Cape Tribulation, in the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area in northern Queensland, is in one of the most biologically diverse areas in the world.

Hellfire Bay is located east of Esperance in Cape Le Grand, one of Western Australia's best known and most spectacular national parks.

Fishes of the Reef - Part 1

With the basic postage rate going to 60c, Australia Post has issued a new and colourful definitive issue titled Fishes of the Reef. This issue is in two parts with Part 1 issued on 21 June 2010 and Part 2 issued on 28 June 2010, when the new postage rates become valid.

The eight fish species in this stamp issue occupy the waters of Great Barrier Reef. Several are also found around reefs off northern and Western Australia.

Shanghai World Expo 2010

The Shanghai World Expo 2010 takes place from 1 May to 31 October 2010.

The Australian pavilion, designed by renowned Melbourne architecture firm Wood Marsh, evokes Australia's ancient landscape. The welcoming Australian kookaburra mascot is named "Peng Peng" in Mandarin, which translates as "friendship".

World Heritage - St. Augustine's Square

St. Augustine's Square is an important public space, situated in the core area of the Historic Centre of Macao. The Square, a historic spot where the Portuguese would gather for social activities, unites a number of nearby monuments and buildings with significant architectural and artistic value. Among these are St. Joseph's Seminary, the Dom Pedro V Theatre, the Sir Robert Ho Tung Library and St. Augustine's Church. Each of them integrated by the Square into a quiet, elegant space enriched with Portuguese style.

2010 Children's Health - Butterflies
