2009 Civil Service Outstanding Service Award Scheme

The Civil Service Outstanding Service Award Scheme, first launched by Civil Service Bureau in 1999, aims to encourage civil servants to strive for continuous improvement in the provision of quality service to the public.

In the 2009 Awards, Hongkong Post received Bronze Award in the "Best Public Image Award" and First Runner-up in the "Internal Service Award". Civil Service Bureau and Radio Television Hong Kong jointly produced the Outstanding Departments Gala Show television programmes to showcase the exemplary services of the award-winning departments and teams, and one of the episodes is on Hongkong Post.
