Hong Kong, China – Republic of Korea Joint Issue on Masks |

Hongkong Post has long been working with overseas postal administrations to promote philately. This time, Hongkong Post and Korea Post jointly issue a set of special stamps on "Mask", marking the ninth joint stamp issue released by Hongkong Post with other postal administrations since 1999.
This set of two stamps depicts the Chinese Lion Dance with a mask of Big Head Buddha chosen by Hongkong Post, and a mask of Bongsan Mask Dance Chwibari chosen by Korea Post. Rendered with vibrant colours, they speak much about the traditional folk culture of the two places. |
